Keep the happy in your holidays

Taking care of yourself over the holidays

Make sure you enjoy every minute of your holidays by following these festive tips.

  1. Curb that overindulging

Whether it’s eating or drinking too much, slowing down or stopping your physical activities and loading up on parties and social engagements - you can overindulge causing stress on your health.

Try to keep everything in moderation so you can enjoy without feeling strained.

  2. Self-care

Take some 'you time' out to rest and recuperate. It could be as simple as going for a walk, listening to music, reading a book or watching a movie.

  3. Keep active

Physical activity is one of the best things you can do for your body and your and overall wellbeing. Keep your energy and motivation levels boosted with the endorphins released by exercising for 30 minutes daily^1.

  4. Give back

Volunteering your time with The Salvation Army, Red Cross or selecting from a wide range of organisations via Go Volunteer can help to better connect with your community, broaden your skills and help to make a positive impact for those in need.
