Michelle Dixon, Estate Planning Lawyer

“It’s a real honour to help our members prepare for the future. I get a lot of satisfaction and joy when I see, hear and feel the sense of relief and comfort our members experience after they sign their legal documents and know that everything’s in place.”

Michelle has dedicated 18 years to becoming an expert in the areas of wills, estate planning and estate administration, including contested estates. She has worked in a range of private practice, in-house and government roles, such as NSW Trustee & Guardian.

With a passion for helping people feel more empowered about the future, Michelle is part of the foundational team that created the estate planning service to help our members plan ahead and feel future ready.

Michelle believes estate planning is all about helping people making informed decisions about who they want to manage their affairs if they’re unable to do so, and who receives their assets when they die.

More than anyone, she understands the importance of respecting and capturing people’s wishes in order to give them legal effect and allow them to be carried out.

Michelle is a happy, friendly and mindful person. She is naturally empathetic, a great listener and an effective communicator who uses plain-English. Michelle is relatable and someone you can rely on for technically sound and practical legal advice.
