Between the things you have to spend your money on – like bills and groceries – and the things you want to spend your money on – like travel or going out with friends - poor old super doesn’t often get a look in.
But what if you could save for tomorrow at the same time as you spend for today? Thanks to the Raiz app, now you can.
Making your small change work hard for your future
Spending is a part of life - but that doesn’t mean you can’t save too. The Raiz app makes it easy to do both, by rounding up the cost of purchases on your linked credit or debit account to the nearest dollar (or whatever amount you choose) and investing the difference for you.
So even when it feels like there’s no money left in your wallet, your savings are growing steadily in the background through your Raiz account.
Once you’ve hit your savings goal – or simply decided you’ve squirreled enough away - you can choose to move it from your Raiz account into your super, back into your bank account or keep it right where it is.
Micro-savings, major super
While it might be tempting to withdraw your Raiz savings for a mini spending spree, we reckon you should reward your future self instead.
Remember, even the smallest savings amounts into super today can add up to a much bigger payday in retirement (even if that may feel like a lifetime away).
And because your savings will be counted as a personal super contribution*, you might even be able to claim a tax deduction for it too, or get an extra super boost thanks to the Government’s co-contribution scheme.
