Our vision is to create a better future for all Australians. We believe that investing in where our members live, work and retire, will deliver strong returns to our members as well as enhance the community for all Australians.

With many of our members working in healthcare, our investment in the Bendigo Hospital is a strong example of how our investments can create great working environments for our members and their communities.

As Victoria’s largest regional hospital, Bendigo Hospital has been recognised as a world-class, award-winning healthcare facility since its redevelopment. The project design considers all aspects of sustainability, such as temperature, daylight and airflow, material selection, external views and courtyards, and energy consumption and collection.

The building project has won multiple design and sustainability awards, including:

  • the Property Council of Australia’s Victorian Development of the Year award in 2018
  • the Premier’s Sustainability Award in 2017 in the Large Business Category, and
  • the Best Interior Design of any Healthcare Facility in Asia Pacific by the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).

Investing in projects and facilities such as new Bendigo Hospital reflects our desire to create long-term value for our members and their communities.

We are thrilled to have been involved in such an innovative and worthwhile project, which not only supports our members to achieve a dignified retirement but provides a facility which is mindful of the community and environment.
